DHLB is one of the larger commercial property brokers in the Rocky Mountain Region. The new website is bright and clean with specially created video of some of their properties on the home page to give the user some excitement and a quick anchor to the industry. Special care was taken to write content targeting their demographic while keeping SEO at the forefront.

The result is that the company showed up in the top three to five results for most targeted search phrases in anonymous browsing just six weeks after launch. The previous website rarely broke the top ten.

Unlike residential properties, commercial listings are not shared across interoperable platforms. This means that the broker must manually enter their listing on multiple services and that each service protects the listings they have, blocking the ability to download a feed of current property listings.

Without a compatible feed to import listings to the DHLB website, we created a custom Chrome browser plugin. This plugin allows the DHLB admin to press one button when they are entering their property on a listing service. The plugin then finds all the information about the property, photos, nearby businesses, map coordinates, etc., and imports it as a new property or updates an existing property on the website. This is a huge timesaver and helps keep the website up to date.

Combined with these hundreds of properties is a custom-built app that maps the properties and allows the user to search by address, nearby businesses, square footage, terms, property type, and more.
